Serving 1.44 million passengers annually, YLW offers 64 daily non-stop commercial flights with Air Canada, WestJet, Alaska Airlines, Central Mountain Air and Northwestern Air and to Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Seattle, Victoria, Prince George, Edmonton, and Red Deer, plus seasonal service to Las Vegas, Phoenix, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta,and Cancun.

 

The main terminal building, located at the south-end of the airport property, boasts numerous amenities for passengers. On ground side, there are long-term and short-term parking options available, food and beverage services, a gift shop and a brand-new well-wishing area that features local artwork. 

 

The screening area features four fully-operational screening lines and the expanded departures lounge amenities include a full service White Spot restaurant, gift shops, cafe, and a wine shop which sells local vintages.

 

The terminal building is open 24 hours every day.

Ground Transfers

 

The only ground transfer option not available is dog sled, sorry no husky's panting on the chain at the kerb.

 

Silver Star Mountain Resort is a 50 minute drive from the airport, with most of the travel on Highway 97.

 

Transfer Options include;

  • Limousine Service (car, van or bus)

  • Rental Cars

 

As a part of your SSVH booking we are delighted to offer ground transfer booking services for your arrival and departure.  

 

Transfers costs are added onto your accommodation booking and invoiced accordingly.

Arriving in the Resort

 

All SSVH guests love our direct to your accomodation check in service (there is no off-site check-in desk to go to first).

 

As an SSVH guest, you go directly to your booked SSVH accommodation where you will find the property fully prepared ahead of your arrive.  If you have pre-ordered groceries these will be in the kitchen waiting for you.

 

The front door will be unlocked  and you can walk straight in.  So that you know you are at the correct property, your booking name will be posted on the door sign at the front door.

 

Arrive, walk straight in, unpack and relax.  Our welcome pack will provide you the door keypad code and other helpful information.
